LECTURER (O.S.)
Through the infinite reaches of
space, the problems of Man seem
trivial and naive indeed. And Man,
existing alone, seems to be an
episode of little consequences.
I like this quote a lot in "Rebel without a Cause", The quote shows how insignificant us Humans are and our problems compared the vast size of the universe. This quote has a whole lot to do with the movie, it raises the question "If we're so insignificant, then why do we continue to fight the way we do?" This concept makes people think and also about the movie as well, what is Jim fighting for? Friendship? love? family?
